Avalanche Safety

Avalanches are the greatest hazard facing winter backcountry travelers. Many avalanche accidents could have been avoided with proper knowledge and good decision-making skills. The Whistler Alpine Guides Bureau is the largest provider of avalanche safety instruction in the Whistler region.

Our instructors are qualified and experienced professionals who work and play in the snow. Our course curriculum is updated yearly with advances in research and technology.
