Challenge yourself on this comprehensive 3-day backcountry clinic for advanced to expert skiers and snowboarders.
Our ACMG certified ski guides will lead you into Whistler's advanced backcountry terrain and discuss topics including avalanche awareness, trip planning, winter camping, route finding, track setting and ascending and descending techniques in steep terrain. This clinic will help prepare you for short multi-day tours such as the Spearhead Traverse and Wapta Traverse.
Participants must have some backcountry ski or snowboard touring experience and be comfortable and confident on black runs in a variety of snow conditions.
Skiers, snowboarders and telemarkers welcome.
