This tour combines glacier hiking with mountain climbing. Your guide will give you detailed instructions on use of equipment and technique for ascending. Negotiate your way across Whistler glacier using crampons and an ice axe to the base of the Via Ferrata route. Using a special lanyard system you will clip yourself onto the cable and climb the rock headwall using a series of ladder rungs that lead you to the summit of Whistler Peak. One of the first Via Ferrata's in Canada, it provides exhilarating views and a vertical perspective you may not have thought possible!
